Vision Motor Sports has designed the new HID 8500 and HID 6500 to meet every requirement of our market. When you first see these new lights, you will notice a lot of familiar characteristics. Then when you look closer, you will be overwhelmed by the many unique traits they have to offer. Both Models feature an integrated ballast, which means all the installer has to do is supply 12 volts to the light, a 2 wire install. Now you might think there is nothing new about this, there are other hid off road lights on the market that have integrated ballasts, but the HID-8500 has a mounting depth of only 4.84 inches, and the HID-6500 has a mounting depth of only 4.6” Most other halogen off road lights are deeper than that. There is no HID light on the market, even with an external ballast, that has such a shallow mounting depth.
